​Welcome to Hillside Traditional Academy.  We acknowledge that we work, learn, and play on the Traditional, Ancestral, Unceded, and Shared lands of the Stó:lō people, of Matheqwí, Qwó:ltl'el, Leq'á:mel, and Sq'éwlets, who have been on this land since time immemorial and still are here.

We are honored you have chosen our school.  Our mission is to provide a safe, caring, and structured community where students can grow to become their very best.  We recognize school excellence is achieved through an integrated student-parent-school partnership. 

At Hillside Traditional Academy we recognize parents are our children's “first teachers" and in this capacity play a significant role in the success of our students.  Here are a few ways families can help their students be successful:

• Talk to your child about their day at school.
• Provide a time and place for homework and regularly monitor their progress.
• Ensure your child gets enough rest during the school week.
• Ensure your child eats a well-balanced diet.
• Ensure regular and punctual attendance.
